You Can Be OK

If this is the beginning of the end for America, you can be ok. If this is the beginning of a time of rich increase, you can be ok. If this is a time of unrest and war, you can be ok. If this is a time of material wealth and prosperity, you can be ok. If this is a time of persecution, you can be ok. If this is a time when morals recenter on God, you can be ok.

Whatever this new era presents, you can be ok. Notice I didn’t say you will be ok, because I can’t guarantee that – only you can. Only you can choose to be ok.

The God of this universe has had a magnificent plan from the beginning. That plan was a plan of redemption. Long before man was created, God knew man would love himself more than he would love God. Still, God made a plan to win back the heart of man. That plan was Jesus. Jesus, who is God, came to the earth in the form of the very ones He created. He humbled Himself and walked in our shoes. He suffered. He was mocked and tormented. He was tempted. He was spat upon and rejected and laughed at and tortured and ultimately He was nailed to a piece of splintered wood and left there until He died. He did that for us. To win our hearts back. To give us a way back to God even though our choices led us away from Him.

I don’t know where you are in your life as you’re reading this. I don’t know if you’re neck deep in sinful activities and choices that have left you feeling like there’s no way out. Perhaps you’re seeking. Perhaps you’re not. Perhaps you’re trying to be faithful. Maybe you’re not. Maybe you’re in a trying time of temptation after temptation. Maybe you’re living with severe persecution. Maybe your heart is heavy with grief or pain. Know this – you can be ok.

Actually, you can be better than ok.

Jesus dying on the cross for you gave you a way to be better than ok. It provided the opportunity for you to be a child of the very God whom you rejected. Jesus’ death provided a payment for your sin debt. Because He died, you can live. Forever. With the Lord.

I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds tomorrow. And He has said that He will never leave or forsake His children. So if you want to be ok, you need to be His. If you have questions about that, you can click HERE or contact me at emily@thelightnetwork.tv.

Just remember – our hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. Our hope doesn’t reside with a promise of making an earthly nation great; our hope is in the Creator of the world. Our hope is in the One who can give us an eternal home in His heavenly country. Make sure that is where you confidence is. Make sure you can be confident in your salvation. If you can’t, contact me.
