Journeys of Paul

We’ve made it through the end of another wonderful week, and aren’t we grateful that God has given us this time! With the weekend coming quickly upon us, I’d love it if you’d take a few moments out of your weekend to listen to some podcasts.

This week, The Light Network is audio only, so you don’t even have to see my face! =) Instead, you simply need to go to thelightnetwork.tv or simply click the podcasts links on the sidebar of the website and it will take you directly to the Navigating the New Testament episodes! OR, you can even go into iTunes and search for either Navigating the New Testament or Emily Hatfield, and the podcast will come up.

I loved recording this week’s podcast, and I hope you will enjoy listening to it. It’s a little shorter than normal (you’re welcome!), so take just about 10 minutes and listen to the podcast titled ‘Paul’s Tumultuous Voyage’.

The storms of life come upon us quickly, don’t they? James spoke of them in James 1:2, when he spoke of falling into various trials. Sometimes, the situations of our lives can drop us right in the midst of a raging storm, and the apostle Paul knew a thing or two about that. That is why I wanted to record a podcast about Paul’s journeys. His literal storm-tossed journey can give us hints and tips on how to handle the storms that we encounter on a daily basis.

And after you have listened to the podcasts, or even before, would you do me a favor? There are multiple people that I love so deeply who are experiencing storms right now, and I’d love for you to pray for them. Because our God is all-knowing, He will know their situation and their need even if you don’t, but I would like to give you their names so that you can specifically mention them as you petition God.

  • Ashley Kelley, her husband Richard, and their precious family.
  • Dot Cooper
  • The Shull family
  • The Kilpatrick family
  • Robert Reasonover
  • Gilbert Jenkins
  • Buddy Bunn

There are so many others I could name, those who are experiencing storms in their lives right now. Please just lift these names before our heavenly Father, and beg for His strength, comfort, healing and peace.
