In 2008, I traveled to Rome, Italy. It was the first Biblical site I ever visited, and from the moment I stepped foot in the Eternal City, I was changed. From dark, damp prisons to burial places of our brothers and sisters in Jesus, every place I visited in Rome gave me a new appreciation of the Biblical text. From Rome, my travels would take me to Corinth, Crete, Ephesus, Patmos, each of the seven churches of Asia, Colossae, Hierapolis, Assos, and other Biblical sites throughout Greece and Turkey. Every step changed my heart.
In my new book, Exposed: The World’s Lies and Deceptions Uncovered, I dive into the geography and Biblical texts surrounding these first century locations. I have walked in these exact places. I have seen the landscape that my first century bothers and sisters saw. And, I face the same enemy today that they faced then.
Exposed is all about the tactics Satan used to lure first century Christians away from their Savior; the same tactics he’s using on us. If we will equip ourselves with a knowledge of the enemy and his wily schemes, we will be able to fight him off. While times have changed, the world hasn’t. The same temptations come upon us that came upon our first century brethren. It is my prayer that this book will help you resist the devil so that he will flee from you.
Each chapter of this book explores a Biblical place, a passage, and a main point. Questions are included at the end of each chapter for both introspection and discussion. I am prayerful that this book will be of value in both personal studies and group studies.

Satan is only as powerful as we allow him to be. If we will arm ourselves with knowledge of his schemes, we will be able to fight him off more easily. After all, he seeks to destroy us. He wants us to fall away from our God. But we can resist. We can say NO! I am prayerful that this book will help you do just that.
