The following is a partial transcript from The Royal Family Podcast season 1, episode 14. With the royal baby being in the news, it’s important to discuss three lessons we can learn from the newest heir.

1: God already knows the newest royal.
While the world waits to see if it will be blue or pink for Will and Kate, God already knows. Jeremiah 1:5 says,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
We don’t know what is in store for the newest addition to the royal family, but we do know this: our Heavenly Father sees it all. Whether it be boy or girl, God knows. Whether this royal will ever see the throne, our God knows. Psalm 139:16 says that all of the days fashioned are already in God’s book! Now, another thing the royal baby teaches us is this:
2: It is a royal BABY.
So many would have us believe that whatever is being formed inside of a woman is not really a child, but her choice. It’s just tissue that she can decide what she wants to do with. However, our culture and our media are completely hypocritically and quite confusing when talking about this subject. They will push the abortion agenda all day, then talk about the royal BABY living inside of Kate Middleton. And it hasn’t been a recent transition. They’ve been calling this the royal baby the entire time. Which is rightfully so. Isaiah 49:1 says,
“Listen, O coastlands, to Me, And take heed, you peoples from afar! The Lord has called Me from the womb; From the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name.”
From the womb God made us into His image. We are human from the moment conception occurs! Surely this royal baby has been a royal baby since that little heart starting beating and the cells started growing. We’d all do well to remember that all babies are just that -babies- even when they’re still dependent upon a loving mother to help them grow and form strong enough organs to survive on their own. If you don’t believe me, just listen to these words found in Job 3:11-16:
“Why did I not die at birth? Why did I not perish when I came from the womb? Why did the knees receive me? Or why the breasts, that I should nurse? For now I would have lain still and been quiet, I would have been asleep; Then I would have been at rest With kings and counselors of the earth,Who built ruins for themselves, Or with princes who had gold, Who filled their houses with silver; Or why was I not hidden like a stillborn child, Like infants who never saw light?”
Here, Job is lamenting even the day he was born, because he is dealing with extreme tragedy and hopelessness. However, some of the words he proclaims are fascinating. He says why did I not perish when I came from the womb. If you can perish – are you not alive? Dead things can’t die. Things that aren’t living can’t die. But Job questions why he didn’t die— showing that even in the womb, he was a living human being. He deserved the chance to live – not to be brutally murdered by the hands of doctors who’d pull him apart limb by limb, as he lies there defenseless.
Yes, it’s painful to talk about. But that’s abortion. And we have to be real with ourselves if we’re going to change the way people thing about things. But, in examining this royal baby – this tiny human who hasn’t even come into the world as we know it – let’s think about this final point:
3: The new royal baby is beautiful.
How can I know this? He or she hasn’t even been born yet? And if, by chance, he or she has, the family has been ultra secretive and no photos have surfaced. So how can I know this baby is beautiful? Well, I know because it’s a baby. And all babies are beautiful. And I’m not talking about their physical appearance. Psalm 139:13-14 says, “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.”
All babies are beautiful because they are formed by the Beautiful One – our God and Father. All babies are created in His image, making them fearfully and wonderfully made. This is the reason that every human being deserves respect and honor. This is why we aren’t to be prejudiced against someone because of their race or ethnicity or hair color or anything else. All human beings were formed by our Almighty God. All humans are beautiful and worthy of love.
We live in a world that needs to learn these lessons. A world filled with hate. A world filled with prejudice. A world willing to kill her babies. But we have to grow. We have to stop acting like men, and start acting like Jesus. Only then will our world be changed. Only then will our world be better.

Author May 8, 2015 at 7:33 pmGreat point! We absolutely aren’t prophets! However, in the same way that God knew Jeremiah and what he would become, God knows us while we are still in the womb as well. And, if Jeremiah hadn’t been a baby inside of his mother’s womb, there wouldn’t have been anything to know anyway – prophet or otherwise.
