PTP: Quotes and Notes

Polishing the Pulpit is quite possibly the greatest week of my year. While it is physically exhausting and mentally taxing, it is the most spiritually uplifting week this earth has to offer. From Friday until the following Thursday, you will hear countless lessons that will prick your heart and touch your life in a way you didn’t think possible. Each lesson, even the ones you didn’t think were applicable, will leave you with your toes stepped on and your heart wanting to change. Not to mention, you’re surrounded by 3000 other Christians trying to do the same thing. It is simply amazing.

But, I understand that not every person has the ability to go. That is why I am offering a few of my favorite quotes here today–just one week after #PTP2013 kicked off. As a note, I should add that I was a part of the film crew, thus I was only in attendance for the women’s lectures held in my ballroom, plus a couple of men’s lectures held in A and other places.

Without further adieu, quotes–with my favorites (of these favorites) bolded:
