Links to Love

I know a lot of people who do links from all over the web for their weekend posts (coughMYHUSBANDcough), but I like to do that toward the beginning of the week, because so many people post so many wonderful things at the end/beginning of the week! And this week, there were just too many wonderful things to keep to myself, so I’m sharing a few with you.

1: My husband’s post about “Why I chose a tree for our family logo” made me one–cry, and two–so proud. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful, dedicated, loving husband, and that post just proves it all the more. He takes so much time for our family of two, and puts so much effort into our lives and I am so thankful for all the work he does for us. AND, if you want to see a bit of his creative genius, you can get a sneak peak at our business cards on his post!

2: Carrie’s post on why she is homeschooling her daughter is a must read. I will admit, growing up in a public school, I always thought homeschooled kids were weird, and made a vow with myself that I would never do that. Now, though, the thought of having kids and sending them to a school where horrendous and ungodly things happen, I’m not so sure it’s a terrible idea. Carrie’s post just solidified that a bit more. If you have kids, want to have kids, or judge people who homeschool, please read this post!

3: Don Blackwell’s video on ‘The Truth About Dressing to Worship’ was absolutely mind blowing. And wonderful, I definitely must say wonderful. I watched it Sunday morning as I was putting on my makeup and fixing my hair, and it was such a great way to get my mind ready to worship my Father, but it also had some lasting lessons that I do wish every Christian would listen to.
