Modest is Hardest…

It’s summer. It’s hot. I know that, you know that.

It’s summer. It’s hot. You’re a Christian. I know that, do you?

Regardless of what season or what temperature, Christians still have to act like and look like Christians. The way we dress is a direct representation of the One we serve. Do we want to wear things that would make the Son of God blush? Do we want to dress in a way that would bring shame to His kingdom? Absolutely not.

Still, there’s so much more to modesty, which is exactly why I invite you to watch this video. My husband studied long and hard, and prayed to deliver his message in a powerful and, most importantly, a loving way. I think he did amazing, and I am so proud of him, and even more convicted of being a modest person…inside and out.

You’re right…it’s hard to be modest, but it is definitely possible and so worth it! Robert’s sermon was excellent!!! I watched it Sunday afternoon when I saw that he posted it. It was presented in such a genuine, loving and convicted way. I know that’s not an easy topic to teach on because it’s so “unpopular” in today’s culture, but it is SO necessary! I’m so proud of y’alls stand for the truth!!!
