A Video Series

As you are probably aware, I host a podcast on The Light Network called Navigating the New Testament. While this podcast is available audio only on iTunes, the primary reason I created this podcast was so people could view the video of it.

Why? Do I want to subject you to looking at me for 20 minutes? Not so much. Really, if I could get away from that, I would. But the neat thing about this podcast is that I have personal photos from all of the places that we talk about in each episode. And so, when we talk about Corinth, you can see the Temple of Apollo. When we talk about Mars Hill, you can see that it isn’t simply a rolling, green hill like we are so familiar with here, but instead it’s a massive rock. While I do hope you’ll get something else out of the episodes, the main reason for doing the podcast is to bring to light some of the areas mentioned in our New Testaments that maybe you haven’t visited before.

Right now, we are in the middle (nearing the end, really) of a study on the seven churches of Asia. Next week, we will start the sixth church, and I do hope you’ll join us. The new episodes are released every Thursday, and you can find them at thelightnetwork.tv/tag/nav, or you can subscribe via iTunes.

But, since I’m so thoughtful, I decided that I’d list these latest episodes for easy access so that you can get caught up on the series! So without further adieu, here are the episodes in the seven churches of Asia series, and be sure to join me next Thursday as we discuss yet another Biblical place!!

  • Seven Churches of Asia: Ephesus
  • Seven Churches of Asia: Smyrna
  • Seven Churches of Asia: Pergamum *this one is especially special to me because my husband got to read from the ancient site of Pergamum, and I’ve included that in this video!*
  • Seven Churches of Asia: Thyatira
  • Seven Churches of Asia: Sardis

You definitely don’t want to miss next week when we discuss Philadelphia, but you ESPECIALLY don’t want to miss Laodicea, coming up in two short weeks. See you then!

*Thank you for supporting The Light Network. Many of you are frequent visitors and we so appreciate the encouragement that you give to us, though the glory is not ours, but God’s. We pray that our efforts can help strengthen the brethren, and lead lost souls to Jesus.
